Golf on an Island Paradise.
Phuket is a destination needs little introduction. From never ending soft white sand beaches, world famous islands, a rich ancient history, opulent beachside hotels and villas, an entertaining nightlife plus a great selection of top quality golf courses, there’s something for everyone.
It’s rare to be able to golf in an island paradise. From playing holes along the ocean, through the famous Tin Mines, up into the jungle and down across the flat lands, Phuket has a little bit of everything. This, coupled with very helpful caddies and world class facilities makes the golf in Phuket a great reason to head off for an island golf holiday.
White sand beaches, turquoise blue water, soft sea breeze, cold cocktail, swaying palm trees, great golf courses. What more could one ask for? The island is a tropical paradise with ample opportunity for rest & relaxation, soaking up both vitamin D and the local customs and traditions.

Aquella Golf & Country Club is the region’s newest golf gem. This seaside design has golfers excited to try it out and see how it is. However, the drive is worth it as the course is in immaculate condition and provides for a very enjoyable round.
Noted as being one of, if not the best layouts in the Kingdom, the Canyon Course requires a straight and long ball, while having a great touch around the greens. Put yourself up against Tiger’s winning round at the ’98 Johnnie Walker Classic and see how you go!
One of the lesser known courses in the region, Katathong is a course built in the hills around Khao Lak/Phang Nga. It is a very relaxing, enjoyable round with the par 3 tenth hole being the best of the bunch! Offering great value and relatively cooler golf compared to the other courses, Katathong is a great option when on a longer trip.
Laguna Golf Phuket is a solid resort course located in central Phuket. The course is tight and has a lot of wide due to its location close to the ocean. This is the course’s major defense and it is good at using it! Patience is the key when going around Laguna, but it is in lovely shape and an incredible golfing experience.
Set on a Tin Mine, Loch Palm derives its name from the many palms trees that line the course. There is never a shortage of palm trees, and seeing row after row of palm trees by the fairway can be daunting, but spectacular all the same. Known as one of the more enjoyable courses in Phuket, it’s a great way to start a trip and get used to the surroundings.
One of only a few golf courses with holes along the ocean, Mission Hills Golf Resort is a great experience for those who are looking for a relaxing, less serious round of golf. The feel and atmosphere lead to great relaxation and the sea breeze makes the round slightly less warm than other courses.
Built amongst the remnants of the most famous Tin Mine, this course has lots of undulation and narrow fairways with some fantastic views over the valley and the jungle. Regarded as the best course in Phuket and one that cannot be missed. Bring your camera for the signature par 3 seventeenth!
A great spot for AFL, Rugby and more, while enjoying some food from home. There are lots of pool tables, TVs and tables to start your night on the town.
This large white Buddha sits atop Phuket, looking down on the community to keep it safe and prosperous. There is a temple inside the Buddha, and the views from up to are spectacular.
A great place to enjoy beachside food and drink with a trendy and relaxed atmosphere.
This viewpoint offers fantastic sunset views off of the south-west coast of Phuket. It is best to get there about 1 hour before the sunsets to ensure you have a great view. There is a restaurant there if you want a meal and some drinks.
This is a traditional Southern Thai food restaurant in Phuket Town. Southern Thai food is known to be spicy and flavorful, and One Chun does up some fantastic dishes. We recommend the Krua King Gai!
This is Phuket’s first ethical Elephant sanctuary. No riding, bathing or hugging here, rather a great opportunity to learn about the Elephants, their diets, their habitat and their daily lives. A truly magical experience with Thailand’s national animal.
This Thai restaurant located just off the white sand of Patong Beach offers delicious Thai food, at a very low price. Frequented by locals and tourists alike, it is well known for giving great value-for-money and service with a smile.
A traditional Thai Massage is an ancient practice with many benefits that have been proven by science. You won't have to walk far to find a Thai Massage shop and with prices starting from as little as 200 baht per hour + tip, it’s worth every cent, especially on a golf trip to help loosen you out before your next round.
A great pool and bar located at Four Points by Sheraton Patong Beach. Local and International food is available here, and the bar has a great selection of beverages to select from.
