Hua Hin is a popular weekend retreat amongst Thai’s. Infact, King Rama VII loved visiting Hua Hin so much he built a summer palace here for his queen and named it Wang Klai Kang Won, which roughly translates in english to Far From Worries.

How To Get Here

With the extension of the local Hua Hin airport, getting to Hua Hin has never been easier. A stop over flight through KL will get you directly into Hua Hin. Alternatively, it’s a 3 hour drive from Bangkok Suvarnabhumi. If you have time another option is to extend your stay to include Pattaya, then catch a short 1 ½ hour ferry ride across the Gulf Of Thailand to arrive directly in Hua Hin to continue your golf journey.

A challenging course, laid out in the foothills of west Hua Hin. A 27-hole layout, the course weaves through beautiful undulating countryside.

Majestic Creek

A hidden gem of Hua Hin and one of the best layouts in the region. The greens are undulated, so your approach shots become an important factor in conquering this course.

Palm Hills

A classic Jack Nicklaus design, the course has hosted the Thailand Open and many other championships. The signature hole 9B which often plays as the 18th is an outstanding finishing hole. A dog leg par 5 with an island green and clubhouse in the backdrop makes this hole a real pressure tester to complete your round.

What? A traditional Irish pub in Thailand of all places? Yes, you read that right. Hua Hin has a healthy expat population made up mostly of retirees here to soak up the sun. If you’re looking to catch the latest sport game or just to meet other tourists or expats from the area, then Father Teds will tick your boxes.

Known as the Palace of Love and Hope, this palace was built under the reign of King Rama VI in the early 1920s. The King loved bright colours, and each room was painted using bright, vibrant colours to reflect this. The palace is now fully open to the public and a great way to see the style and ways of living from the reign of King Rama VI.
