Two countries. Twenty unforgettable days. One extraordinary golf journey through South East Asia.
The South East Asia Golf Tour is a fully hosted escape designed for golfers and non-golfers alike — blending championship golf, rich culture, iconic landmarks, five-star stays, and effortless travel across Cambodia and Vietnam.
Your journey begins in Cambodia, where ancient wonders and world-class golf come together in spectacular fashion. Play standout courses including Vattanac Golf Resort – East Course, Angkor Golf Resort, Chhun On Golf Resort, and Phokeethra Country Club, while also uncovering the country’s remarkable cultural soul — from the grandeur of Angkor Wat to the floating villages of Tonle Sap Lake and the history-filled streets of Phnom Penh.
From there, the adventure continues as you fly to Vietnam, where a new chapter unfolds across Hanoi, Ha Long Bay, and Da Nang. Here, the experience expands to include six more rounds of exceptional golf, an overnight cruise through the limestone scenery of Ha Long Bay, and memorable rounds at some of Vietnam’s most celebrated layouts — including BRG King’s Island, Thanh Lanh, Legend Da Nang, Ba Na Hills, and Hoiana Shores.
But this journey is about far more than golf.
While golfers are on the course, non-golfers will enjoy a thoughtfully curated collection of experiences across both countries — from cultural touring in Phnom Penh, visits to Oudong Mountain and the floating villages of Tonle Sap Lake, a traditional monk blessing in Siem Reap, and time to relax with a massage and sunset quad bike adventure in Cambodia, to Hanoi’s cultural landmarks, Hue’s imperial treasures, Ba Na Hills, My Son Sanctuary, and hands-on local experiences in Hoi An throughout Vietnam.
With Golf Journeys, every detail is taken care of. From dedicated airport transfers and domestic flights to premium accommodation, hosted dinners, expert local support, and seamless logistics throughout, the South East Asia Golf Tour is designed to feel immersive, elevated, and incredibly easy from beginning to end.
This is South East Asia at its most captivating — vibrant, rewarding, and made for golf.

Your South East Asia golf journey begins the moment you arrive in Phnom Penh, where a warm welcome awaits from the Golf Journeys team. As you make your way through arrivals, you’ll be met and transferred in comfort to your hotel for the next few nights — the stylish Courtyard by Marriott Phnom Penh.
Perfectly positioned near the riverside and within easy reach of the city’s cultural heart, this contemporary hotel offers a relaxing base to ease into the adventure ahead. Settle into your room, refresh after your travels, and take a moment to soak up the excitement of being in Cambodia.
As evening falls, we come together for a hosted Welcome Dinner — the perfect way to toast the beginning of the tour, meet your fellow travellers, and enjoy your first taste of Cambodian hospitality in a relaxed and convivial setting.
After breakfast, you’ll set out by private vehicle for an immersive introduction to Cambodia’s capital. Today reveals the layers of Phnom Penh — a city where royal grandeur, colonial charm, and modern energy all sit side by side.
The day begins at the magnificent Royal Palace, built in 1866 and still one of the city’s most splendid architectural landmarks. Nearby, visit the Silver Pagoda, famous for its gleaming floor made from thousands of silver tiles and its rich collection of national treasures. From there, continue to Central Market (Phsar Thmei), a lively and historic marketplace where daily life unfolds beneath the striking Art Deco dome.
A hosted lunch is included at a local restaurant, giving you the chance to pause, relax, and sample Cambodian flavours before the afternoon turns more reflective.
Later, visit Choeung Ek, better known as the Killing Fields — a solemn memorial site that offers important insight into Cambodia’s recent history. It is a moving and deeply significant experience, one that helps bring greater understanding to the country and its people.
Start the morning with breakfast at the hotel before today’s first golf experience in Cambodia.
Golfers will head to Chhun On Golf Resort – Lake Course, a peaceful and scenic layout where nature and golf blend beautifully. Framed by gentle water features and countryside surrounds, the course offers a relaxed yet rewarding round — the perfect setting to settle into the rhythm of the tour and enjoy the first fairways of the journey.
While golfers are on the course, non-golfers will enjoy a full-day cultural outing. The day begins with a visit to Oudong Mountain, once Cambodia’s royal residence and capital on various occasions between the 17th and 19th centuries. Here, stairways, royal stupas, and hilltop viewpoints combine to create a meaningful and memorable visit. Continue to Vipassana Dhura Buddhist Monastery, where peaceful gardens and spiritual surroundings offer a quieter moment of reflection, before heading to Prasith Mountain, known for its countryside views, temples, sculptures, and reclining Buddha.
Lunch is included at a local restaurant, followed by time to browse the famed Russian Market, where local fashion, textiles, souvenirs, and everyday Cambodian life come together in a lively and colourful setting.
After breakfast, golfers will make their way to one of Cambodia’s most talked-about golfing experiences — Vattanac Golf Resort – East Course.
Designed by Sir Nick Faldo, this exceptional course is known not only for its championship-calibre layout but also for its striking Khmer-inspired design elements. Throughout the round, golfers will encounter scale replicas of ancient temples, cultural motifs, traditional statues, and sweeping water features that give the course a uniquely Cambodian identity. Immaculately conditioned and thoughtfully designed, it’s a round that is as visually memorable as it is enjoyable to play.
One of the true highlights comes at the end of the day, with the resort’s signature island-green nineteenth hole adding a playful and memorable finale to an already standout golfing experience.
For non-golfers, today is intentionally more flexible. With your hotel centrally located in Phnom Penh, the city is yours to enjoy at leisure. Relax by the rooftop pool, discover local cafés and boutiques, enjoy a massage, or head out to explore the nearby streets and markets at your own pace.
After breakfast, it’s time to leave Phnom Penh and continue deeper into Cambodia. You’ll be transferred to the airport for your included domestic flight to Siem Reap, the country’s cultural heart and gateway to some of its greatest treasures.
On arrival, you’ll be met by your local guide and transferred to Courtyard by Marriott Siem Reap Resort, your home for the next few nights. Tucked within the vibrant energy of Siem Reap, this welcoming resort offers a more tranquil setting from which to explore the region. Tropical gardens, a beautiful pool, quiet corners to unwind, and the warm hospitality of the local team all make it an ideal base.
The remainder of the day is yours to settle in and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere. Perhaps take a swim, explore the resort, or head out for a gentle wander as Siem Reap begins to reveal its charm. As evening falls, the city’s markets, restaurants, and laneway cafés start to hum with life.
Following breakfast, golfers travel to Phokeethra Country Club, an elegant championship course that reflects a different side of Cambodia’s golf offering. With broad fairways, mature trees, and glistening lakes, the course combines classical design with a calm, countryside atmosphere. It’s a layout that feels both refined and relaxing, with enough challenge to intrigue golfers while remaining highly enjoyable to play.
For non-golfers, today is rich with local discovery and memorable experiences. The journey begins with a private boat trip through Kampong Phluk, where stilted homes rise from the water’s edge and life on Tonle Sap Lake unfolds in a way that feels both fascinating and deeply authentic. Depending on the season, you may also board a smaller rowing boat to pass through the flooded forest, where wildlife sightings can add to the magic of the experience.
Lunch is included at a local restaurant before continuing to Wat Preah Prom Reat, a functioning Buddhist monastery featuring a Khmer-style pagoda, religious statues, and beautifully painted imagery. Later, enjoy a well-earned moment of relaxation with an included massage at MUDITA Spa.
As the afternoon softens into evening, the day finishes with a sunset quad bike adventure, taking you through village tracks and paddy fields as the golden light settles across the landscape — a unique and memorable way to experience Siem Reap beyond the temples.
Today is devoted to one of the most awe-inspiring cultural sites in the world.
After breakfast, you’ll travel by private vehicle to the extraordinary Angkor Archaeological Park, where Cambodia’s ancient grandeur comes to life in breathtaking scale. Enter through the South Gate of Angkor Thom, with its dramatic stone gateway and rows of gods and demons lining the causeway, before continuing to the iconic Bayon Temple, famous for its many serene stone faces.
From there, you’ll pass other important sites within the ancient complex, including the Terrace of the Elephants, Terrace of the Leper King, and surrounding ruins that speak to the once-mighty Khmer Empire. Next comes Ta Prohm, the atmospheric temple embraced by giant tree roots and made famous by its haunting beauty.
Lunch is included at a local restaurant before the day’s final and most anticipated highlight — Angkor Wat itself. Vast, intricate, and unforgettable, it remains one of the world’s great wonders and a truly defining experience of Cambodia.
After breakfast, golfers head to Angkor Golf Resort, a polished and highly regarded layout designed by Sir Nick Faldo. Located just minutes from the temple precinct, the course is known for its pristine conditioning, strategic design, fast greens, and attentive service. With lush palms, subtle water features, and beautifully presented fairways, it offers a fitting final round in Cambodia.
While golfers are on the course, non-golfers will enjoy a meaningful and varied day beginning with a visit to a local pagoda for a traditional monk blessing. From there, continue to the War Museum for a deeper perspective on Cambodia’s modern history, followed by time to browse local treats and souvenirs. Lunch is included before free time at the Old Market, where the atmosphere is vibrant and full of local character.
Later in the day, non-golfers will meet the golfers at the clubhouse, and this evening everyone comes together for a hosted Farewell Dinner — a chance to reflect on the highlights of Cambodia, celebrate new friendships, and mark the close of this remarkable chapter of the journey.
After breakfast, it’s time to farewell Cambodia and begin the next chapter of your South East Asia journey.
You’ll be transferred to the airport for your onward flight to Vietnam, where a vibrant new atmosphere, fresh flavours, and more unforgettable golf experiences await. On arrival into Hanoi, you’ll be met by your guide and transferred to the elegant Apricot Hotel, superbly positioned beside Hoan Kiem Lake and in the heart of the city’s Old Quarter.
With its French-inspired character and collection of Vietnamese art, the hotel offers a beautiful setting for your first taste of Vietnam. The remainder of the day is at leisure — perhaps take a gentle walk by the lake, settle into the rhythm of the Old Quarter, or simply enjoy the comfort of the hotel as you prepare for the next stage of the tour.
Wake to your first full day in Vietnam and take in the charm of Hanoi, a city where lakeside calm, colonial architecture, buzzing scooters, and rich food culture all come together in one unforgettable setting.
Today allows you to settle into the energy of the destination and enjoy time to explore at your own pace before the golfing program begins. Wander the edge of Hoan Kiem Lake, discover the laneways and storefronts of the Old Quarter, or simply enjoy the atmosphere from a café as the city moves around you.
Tonight, the group gathers for a standout Hosted Dinner at the rooftop ONE36 Bar, where sweeping skyline views create the perfect backdrop for an elevated evening. With beverages included and the mood set for the journey ahead, it’s a memorable way to celebrate your arrival in Vietnam and continue building the camaraderie of the tour.
After breakfast, golfers will head out for their first round in Vietnam at BRG King’s Island – King Course. Reached by boat, the arrival alone makes this golfing experience memorable. Once on course, lush surrounds, rolling hills, standout par-3s, and strategically bunkered greens combine to create a brilliant introduction to golf in Northern Vietnam.
While golfers are on the course, non-golfers enjoy a full-day escorted tour of Hanoi with an English-speaking guide. Highlights include Tran Quoc Pagoda, the Ho Chi Minh Complex, One Pillar Pagoda, and the Temple of Literature, along with photo opportunities that capture the city’s unique character. Lunch is included at Duong’s Restaurant, before the afternoon continues around Hoan Kiem Lake, Ngoc Son Temple, and a classic cyclo ride through the Old Quarter.
It’s a day that beautifully balances golf and cultural discovery, with both golfers and non-golfers experiencing the best of Hanoi in their own way.
After breakfast, golfers will travel to Thanh Lanh Golf Resort, where the mountain-and-lake scenery creates one of the most picturesque rounds of the Vietnam itinerary.
Set against Thanh Lanh Lake and surrounded by lush hills, the course is as strategic as it is scenic. Precision and patience are rewarded here, with a number of memorable holes shaped by water, elevation, and carefully protected greens. It’s the sort of round that feels satisfying from first tee to final putt, both for the quality of golf and the natural beauty that frames it.
After golf, return to Hanoi for another evening at the Apricot. Perhaps enjoy dinner nearby, stroll by the lake, or simply relax and recharge before tomorrow’s journey to one of Vietnam’s most iconic landscapes.
After breakfast, it’s time to leave Hanoi and head for one of the true natural icons of South East Asia — Ha Long Bay.
Before departure, the logistics are made easy. Only a small overnight bag is needed for the cruise, while larger luggage and golf clubs are securely handled for you. On arrival at the harbour, board the beautiful Ha Long Ambassador Cruise and settle into your elegant Deluxe Room, complete with sweeping bay views from your private balcony.
As the cruise sets off, the bay begins to unfold around you — limestone karsts rising from emerald water, quiet coves, and a landscape that feels almost surreal in its beauty. This evening is one of the signature moments of the tour. Enjoy welcome drinks and dinner onboard, with a menu featuring Vietnamese flavours alongside international favourites, all served in a refined dining setting surrounded by extraordinary scenery.
After dinner, head up to the deck for fresh air, stargazing, and a quiet moment to take in the stillness of Ha Long Bay after sunset.
After breakfast, the journey continues south to Vietnam’s central coast. Following your cruise experience, there is time to freshen up and get organised before transferring to the airport for your flight from Hanoi to Da Nang.
On arrival, you’ll be met and transferred to your beachfront home for the next six nights — Pullman Danang Beach Resort. Beautifully positioned on Bac My An Beach, the resort offers a laid-back yet premium coastal setting, ideal for the second half of the Vietnam experience.
Check into your room and enjoy the afternoon at leisure. Perhaps take a walk along the sand, enjoy a drink by the pool, or simply settle into the slower rhythm of beachside Da Nang. After the energy of Hanoi and the serenity of Ha Long Bay, the central coast brings a different kind of appeal — open skies, sea air, and easy elegance.
After breakfast, golfers head to Legend Da Nang – Nicklaus Course, a Jack Nicklaus-designed championship layout known for its strategic shot values, bold bunkering, and immaculate presentation. With premium facilities and a beautifully conditioned course, today delivers another high-end golfing experience and showcases the strength of Central Vietnam as a golf destination.
While golfers are on the course, non-golfers enjoy a full-day Hue City Tour. Rich in imperial history and striking architecture, Hue offers a deeply rewarding cultural experience. Visit the majestic Minh Mang Tomb, the distinctive Khai Dinh Tomb, and the historic Imperial Citadel of the Nguyen Dynasty. Lunch is included at the Garden Restaurant, before the afternoon continues with Thien Mu Pagoda and a scenic dragon boat cruise along the Perfume River.
Later in the day, everyone regroups and heads into Hoi An, where lantern-lit streets, riverside charm, and old-world beauty create a special atmosphere. Tonight’s included dinner at Mango Mango, with beverages, is a wonderful way to round out a full and memorable day.
After breakfast, golfers travel inland for a round at Ba Na Hills Golf Club, designed by Luke Donald and celebrated for its dramatic mountain setting. Surrounded by lush forest and undulating terrain, the course offers a round that feels both elevated and immersive, with breathtaking scenery accompanying nearly every hole.
While golfers are on the course, non-golfers head off to explore Ba Na Hills, one of the region’s most popular attractions. Travelling by cable car, the day includes visits to the iconic Golden Bridge, Le Jardin D’Amour, the historic Debay Wine Cellar, and the charming French Village. A buffet lunch is included, giving plenty of time to enjoy both the scenery and the atmosphere before returning to Da Nang.
Whether on the course or touring among the hills, today is packed with visual highlights and memorable moments.
Today is intentionally more relaxed, giving you the chance to enjoy Da Nang in your own way.
Take the opportunity to slow down and soak up the beachside atmosphere of the Pullman. You might choose to lounge by the pool, enjoy a long walk along the sand, visit local cafés and markets, or simply take time to recharge before the final rounds of the tour.
For golfers wanting an extra challenge, an optional round may be available at Laguna Lang Co, a world-class course located about an hour from Da Nang. With beautiful surroundings and a more demanding layout, it’s an appealing add-on for those eager to play more.
For everyone else, the day is yours — easy, flexible, and a welcome pause in the midst of a full and rewarding journey.
After breakfast, golfers will tee it up at Legend Da Nang – Norman Course, one of the most striking layouts on the itinerary. With dramatic natural surrounds, broad fairways, and sweeping views across the coastline and distant mountains, the course delivers a true bucket-list feel and another memorable day of golf in Central Vietnam.
While golfers are on the course, non-golfers will enjoy a guided excursion to My Son Sanctuary, the former spiritual and political centre of the Champa Kingdom and now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The site’s ancient red-brick towers and rich history make for a deeply rewarding cultural experience. Along the way, there will be time for photos, storytelling, and a better understanding of the significance of this remarkable place.
Lunch is included in Hoi An before returning to Da Nang later in the day.
Today is the grand finale of your South East Asia golfing journey.
Golfers head to Hoiana Shores Golf Club, designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr and widely regarded as one of the finest courses in Asia. With sweeping coastline contours, ocean views, firm playing surfaces, and bold design, it offers a thrilling and highly memorable closing round — the kind of course that leaves a lasting impression long after the final putt drops.
While golfers are on the course, non-golfers will enjoy a special cultural experience in Hoi An with a traditional lantern-making workshop. Guided by local artisans and working with materials such as bamboo and silk, you’ll create your own lantern to take home as a meaningful and beautifully local keepsake.
This evening, the tour concludes in style with a hosted Farewell Presentation Dinner, complete with beverages. It’s a final chance to come together, celebrate the journey, share favourite memories, and reflect on an extraordinary 20 days across Cambodia and Vietnam.
