MON 6 MAR - DAY 2: KING ISLAND 'PRESIDENTS CUP STYLE TOURNAMENT' & TOUR OF THE ISLAND
After breakfast we make our way across to the Cape Wickham lighthouse to tell the story of the construction of the tallest light house in Australian and the two worst maritime disasters in Australia’s history which happened off king Islands coast.
Our next stop is linked to one of these wrecks the Neva And hence the naming of disappointment bay which is anything but a disappointment one of king islands most spectacular bays.
Following our visit to disappointment bay we make our way to Martha Lavinia reserve a ramsar sight of international importance. In the Lavinia reserve lies Martha Lavinia beach one of the top surfing locations in Australia with a very iconic wave and fantastic fishing.
From hear we make our way to Currie as we showcase the island's largest industry - the beef industry. Before we make our way to golf we will be treated to one of the island's delicacy's - lunch at the local bakery with freshly prepared crayfish pie.
After our tour, we are guests on the best 9 hole course in the southern hemisphere - King Island Golf Club. Our group will be split into teams of 2 and matched up against the friendly locals. Post round, we'll get to share a yarn with the local's and learn more about King Islands rich history. Many of the members have more than 4 generations of history to share.

TUE MAR 7 - DAY 3 : BUCKET LIST GOLF AT CAPE WICKHAM
We’ve been hosting groups to King Island since it first opened and have returned back many times since. When asked “What’s your favourite hole”, there is honestly no easy answer, there are just too many great holes to single one out. It’s pure links golf, as nature intended, and we won’t be surprised when this course makes its way into the top 10 in the world. Our advice for todays round is to enjoy every shot, the good and the bad, it's a magical experience that only a privileged few have yet enjoyed.

WED MAR 8 - DAY 4: A ROUND AT OCEAN DUNES
As you awake, your host and the local farmers have prepared a hearty breakfast ready to takeaway of local fresh produce.
Following your breakfast, you'll transfer this morning to Ocean Dunes approx. 45 mins from Cape Wickham.
Fortune favours the brave on this course. Heroic tee shots will set you up nicely for your approach, but a miss hit here or there and you’ll be needing to restock on golf balls at the pro shop. There’s some real cracking holes which rival some of the best in the world, so take your time to soak it all in and enjoy the experience.

Today you have the option of taking things easy or booking an optional second round at Cape Wickham - shower facilities will be available after your round.
We also offer a tour of the surrounding areas for those looking to see more of King Island before you bid adieu.
